Brazil's women have become a team-medal nation in the last three years. They won world team silver in Antwerp in 2023 and Olympic team bronze in Paris in 2024. Rotterdam is their first world team competition since then, and Rebeca Andrade is back.
Squad
- Rebeca Andrade – Olympic floor champion 2024
- Flávia Saraiva
- Lorrane Oliveira
- Gabriela Bouças
- Thaís Fidélis
- Sophia Weisberg
Six names were nominated. Five form the team and one is the reserve.
Andrade's return
Andrade took 2025 off after winning four medals in Paris. She returned at the 2026 Pan American Championships, competing on vault only, and won the vault title as Brazil took team silver. In Rotterdam she is not expected to compete all four apparatus. Brazil therefore need strong contributions on bars and beam from the rest of the team.
Flávia Saraiva and the rest
Flávia Saraiva has been Brazil's other constant for a decade, especially on beam and floor, and was part of both recent team medals. Lorrane Oliveira and Thaís Fidélis add experience from earlier Brazilian teams.
LA28 stakes
A top-three finish among eligible nations in the team final on 21 October would secure Brazil's team place at LA28. See our LA28 qualification guide.
